About Our Physician associate Role

Physician associates are here to support patients with the guidance needed to stay on top of any health concerns. With their expert knowledge and skills, they can diagnose conditions and can perform physical examinations when it best suits you. They can arrange test and analyse your results with you, explain every fine detail with you and supply the support need to patients who require care for long-term conditions.

Apprenticeship opportunity

With the role of Physician associate, there is also the opportunity for people to start their professional career with an apprenticeship.  The apprenticeship scheme is a great way for people to learn the profession while gaining first-hand experience. An apprentice will have the same responsibilities as a Physician associate but with a mentor or supporting body helping them at the start of their professional journey.
